The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced excellent career opportunities for fresh graduates under its State Bank Officers Training Scheme (SBOTS) – 28th Batch and the Cyber Risk Officers Scheme (CROS). 🌐 Vacancies Overview

The SBP is offering positions of Assistant Director (OG-2) in two main tracks:

SBOTS (28th Batch) – Focused on areas like:
- Monetary Policy
- Financial Markets & Reserve Management
- Islamic Finance
- Macroeconomic Research
- Digital Financial Services
- HR, Risk, IT, and Internal Audit
Cyber Risk Officers Scheme (CROS) – Focused on:
- Cyber Risk Supervision
- Digital Frauds Investigation
- Incident Management & Response

All selected candidates will be posted in Karachi, Pakistan.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

For SBOTS, candidates must have a 16-year education (Bachelor’s/Master’s) with a minimum of 60% marks or 2.5/4.0 GPA in disciplines such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Law, Islamic Banking, HR, IT, or Media Studies.

For CROS, candidates must have 16 years of education in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or other IT-related fields. Certifications and relevant experience will be a plus.

The maximum age limit is 26 years as of June 29, 2025. However, there is a 3-year relaxation for women, transgender persons, minorities, and candidates from Balochistan, AJK, GB, and ex-FATA.

A pre-induction written test will be conducted by a third-party Testing Agency. Admit cards will be shared via SMS and postal address. No fee is required for the test.

✅ Selection & Training Process

Qualified candidates will go through group discussions, psychometric tests, and panel interviews. Selected candidates will then undergo residential training at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad.

💰 Salary & Benefits

During training:
- SBOTS trainees will receive Rs. 41,000/month
- CROS trainees will receive half salary as stipend
After training:
- SBOTS Assistant Directors will receive Rs. 82,000/month (monetized)
- CROS Assistant Directors will receive Rs. 120,000/month (or adjusted to current salary)
