The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has announced its Paid Internship Program for 2025–26. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals to gain real-world experience in the power distribution sector.

HESCO is a public sector utility company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), operating in 13 districts of Southern Sindh (excluding Karachi), with a team of over 10,000 employees. Internship Fields & Vacancies

HESCO is offering internships in the following departments:

• Operations – BSc / BE Electrical or Electronics (PEC registered) – 20 seats

• Grid Station Operation – BSc / BE Electrical or Electronics (PEC registered) – 20 seats

• Finance – CA / CMA (Inter), CIMA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), M.Com – 15 seats

• Internal Audit – Same as above – 15 seats

• HR / Admin – MBA, MPA (HRM), or equivalent – 8 seats

• IT Department – MS (IT), MCS, MBA (IT) – 10 seats

• Customer Services – MBA (Marketing) – 10 seats

• Legal – Postgraduate LLB – 2 seats

Internship Duration & Stipend

• The internship will be for 6 months, extendable up to 2 years based on performance.

• Monthly stipend is Rs. 40,000, with a 20% increase upon each extension.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA from HEC-recognized institutes or relevant professional bodies.

• Maximum age limit is 30 years by the closing date.

• Government or semi-government employees cannot apply.

• This internship does not guarantee a job after completion.
