Quota Distribution for Stenotypist Post

The 12 posts of Stenotypist (BPS-14) are distributed as follows: Merit (01), Punjab Merit (04), Punjab Women (01), Punjab Minority (01), Sindh Urban Merit (02), Sindh Rural Merit (01), KPK Merit (01), and Balochistan Merit (01). The 2 posts of Lower Division Clerk (BPS-11) are reserved under Punjab (Merit) quota.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Stenotypist post must hold an Intermediate certificate with 80 words per minute shorthand speed and 40 words per minute typing speed in English, along with basic computer literacy. For the Lower Division Clerk post, candidates must be Matric qualified with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute. The age limit for both posts is 18 to 25 years, with a 5-year age relaxation admissible as per Establishment Division rules.

General Information & Instructions

  • Recruitment will be made according to the Recruitment Policy conveyed by the Establishment Division.
  • Only candidates clearing the screening test will be considered for the skills test, and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
  • Incomplete applications, advance copies, and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  • An applicant may apply for more than one post by submitting separate application forms for each post.
  • Applicants must present original documents along with attested copies of domicile, degree, and certificates at the time of interview.
