Selection Procedure

  • Online registration through www.joinpaf.gov.pk
  • Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in relevant subjects (English & Physics for GD(P), AD, A&SD, and Log courses; English, Physics & Maths for CAE; Academic Test in relevant subjects for CSC)
  • Initial Medical Examination and Interview at I&S Centre
  • Initial Physical Test including Running (1 km), Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, and Chin-Ups (criteria vary for Male/Female candidates)
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for ISSB
  • Test/Interview by ISSB Kohat / Gujranwala / Malir / Quetta
  • Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore
  • Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) of GD(P) candidates at I&SC Rawalpindi/Karachi
  • Final selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit

Ineligibility Conditions

  • Candidate previously rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards (twice)
  • Candidate who was screened out by ISSB
  • Candidate barred for a 120-day gap after previous ISSB appearance
  • Candidate dismissed/removed from government services, including armed forces
  • Candidate convicted in a court of law for any heinous offense
  • Candidate permanently declared unfit by the Appeal Medical Board
  • Candidate withdrawn from any bonded armed forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds
  • Candidate who provides incomplete, false, or wrongful information
  • Candidate thrice screened out by Army/Navy/Air Force during preliminary selection
