Turkey LOCALINTERNational 2025- Fully Funded International Training Opportunity for Pakistani Youth

Are you a university student or recent graduate in Pakistan eager to explore international opportunities and learn about local governance? Good news! Applications for LOCALINTERNational 2025 are now open.

LOCALINTERNational (International Local Authorities Training Program) is an international training initiative organized every year since 2012 by the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye. This program offers young participants a unique chance to understand the core principles of Turkish local governments, gain practical insights through municipal field visits, and build global connections.

The theme for this year is “Participatory Youth: The Floor Is Ours.” The aim is to empower future local leaders by providing them with knowledge, exposure, and cultural experiences that will help them contribute positively to their own communities back home in Pakistan.

Program Highlights for 2025:

• Dates: 31 August – 7 September 2025

• Location: Türkiye

• Expenses Covered: Accommodation, flight tickets, meals, local transfers, and activities (excluding visa fee)

• Selection Criteria: English language skills, good academic record, and any prior international experience will be given preference.

• Youth Participation in Local Governments

• Fund and Grant Resource Management

• Global and Regional Local Government Organizations

• Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

• Effective Urban Planning
