Educational Qualification

  • Religious Teacher (Molvi): Shahadat-ul-Aalamia fi al-Uloom al-Arabia wal Islamia from an HEC-recognized institute.
  • Lady Rangers (Sepoy General Duty): Minimum Middle pass; candidates with higher education or a BSN Nursing diploma will be preferred.
  • Cook: Middle pass with proven cooking skills.
  • Sweeper & Other Misc. Trades: No specific educational qualification required; candidate must be able to read and write.

  • Original NADRA-issued CNIC with 2 photocopies

Selection Procedure

  1. Physical Test (candidates must bring PT/jogger shoes)
  2. Written Test
  3. Psychological Test/Interview (only candidates who pass the earlier stages will be called)
  4. Final Selection at Lahore as per Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) criteria
  5. Final Medical Examination, including Serum ALT, Serum Creatinine, Blood ESR, Blood CP, HIV Test, Urine Complete, ECG, Blood Group, Chest X-ray, HB Electrophoresis, and LDH Blood Serum tests
  6. Call letters for training will be issued to successful candidates

Training

  • Lady Rangers (Sepoy General Duty): Basic training at Sector Headquarters Rangers, Burhan-ul-Haq, Bahawalpur.
  • Cook: Basic training at Pakistan Rangers Academy, Bahauddin Zakariya.

Salary & Allowances

  • Religious Teacher: BPS-11
  • Lady Rangers (Sepoy General Duty) & Cook: BPS-05
  • Sweeper & Other Misc. Trades: BPS-01
  • Other allowances as per prevailing Government rules
  • Free accommodation; married personnel are entitled to House Rent Allowance of 30% or 45% of basic pay scale
