Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Director Regional Services (BPS-17)
- 2nd Class Masters' Degree or equivalent from a HEC recognized university
- Relevant experience shall be preferred in a Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Body or in a University of repute
- Age Limit: 30+5 years
Research Assistant (BPS-16)
- 16 years of education (1st Class) OR 2nd Class Graduation from a HEC recognized university
- Relevant experience will be preferred, or 04 years' relevant experience in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Body, HEC recognized University, preferably in BPS-14 or equivalent
- Age Limit: 28+5 years
Data Entry Operator (BPS-14)
- Bachelor's Degree at least 2nd class
- Minimum speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour
- Knowledge of Computer Applications essentials
- Experience in the relevant field preferable
- Age Limit: 25+5 years
Staff Car Driver to VC (BPS-11)
- At least Middle pass, while Matriculate will be preferred
- HTV (PSV) valid driving license
- 10 years' experience of driving Staff Car with Head of Education Institution/Chief Executive/Senior Officer etc.
- Age Limit: 25+5 years
Driver (BPS-09)
- At least Primary/Middle pass, while Matriculate will be preferred
- HTV/PSV valid driving license

- Candidates selected against their respective provincial quota can be posted to any AIOU Regional Center in that province.
- Eligibility of candidates shall be determined as per AIOU Services Statutes 1978 (amended up to 27th April 2026), relevant applicable rules of the Government, terms and conditions of the advertisement, and subsequent shortlisting/scrutiny as per AIOU Recruitment Rules, available on the AIOU website.
- Maximum age limit as prescribed under the rules shall be relaxed in pursuance of the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993 (amended from time to time), as provided in AIOU Services Statutes 1978 (amended up to 27th April 2026).
- Applicants already working on Regular/Acting Charge/Officiating/Ad-hoc/Current Charge and/or Contract basis in Government/Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies (including employees of AIOU) must apply through the proper channel and obtain a NOC and service certificate(s) issued by the respective Controlling Authority by the due date, failing which the application shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.
- Information claimed in the online application form will be treated as final. Subsequent claims of experience or any other information not given earlier in the online application form will be considered an afterthought and an attempt to become eligible, and such claims shall not be accepted.
- AIOU reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, or not to fill any post, or withhold appointment against any post, without assigning any reason.
- Applicants shall provide documentary evidence in support of all information claimed in the online profile/application, as and when required by the University; otherwise, the applicant may be considered ineligible.
- Candidates are required to provide a valid/non-MNP cell number (for SMS) and a postal address for TCS/courier delivery. AIOU shall not be responsible for delay in courier or non-receipt of SMS.
- Quota will be observed as per Government instructions/as approved by AIOU statutory bodies.
