Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2026 for Young Women & Girls – Bachelor's & Master's Degrees at HEC Universities

The Scottish Government, in partnership with the British Council Pakistan, has launched the prestigious Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2026. This scholarship program funds graduate studies for Pakistani women at any HEC-recognized university across Pakistan — covering both Bachelor's (4-year) and Master's/MPhil (2-year) degree programs.

The scholarship aims to make higher education more accessible to women across Pakistan, supporting them in achieving their full potential and ambition. Young women with disabilities, from rural areas, and/or from minority groups are especially encouraged to apply.

What Does the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship Cover?

The scholarship award facilitates selected scholars with the following financial support:

  • ✅ Travel to and from home to university two times per year for students staying in on-campus hostels
  • ✅ Research funds to access quality labs, equipment, and tools within the chosen course of study — for Master's students only

Eligible Degree Programs

  • 📚 Undergraduate: Four-year Bachelor's degree in any HEC-recognized university across Pakistan
  • 🎓 Postgraduate: Maximum two-year Master's or MPhil degree in any HEC-recognized university across Pakistan
